The rest of the profits go to the national headquarters where much of the money is used to help Planned Parenthood and other left wing organizations. The formerly Christ centered organization is now used to indoctrinate girls into radical feminism and sexualize them. While they used to teach abstinence, they now teach self discovery, protection and abortion "rights". 

American Heritage Girls is a good alternative to the Girl Scouts. This Christian alternative, started in 1995, has over 30,000 members in 700 troops, in 48 states and 6 countries.
