NIGHT WATCHMAN

Once upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert.

Congress said, "Someone may steal from it at night."

So they created a night watchman position and hired a person for the job.

Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his job without instruction?"

So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions, and one person to do time studies.

Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?"

So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people. One was to do the studies and one was to write the reports.

Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?"

So they created two positions: a time keeper and a payroll officer then hired two people.

Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?"

So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary.

Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one year and we are $918,000 over budget, we must cut back."

So they laid-off the night watchman.

NOW slowly, let it sink in.

Quietly, we go like sheep to slaughter. Does anybody remember the reason given for the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY during the Carter administration?

Anybody?

Anything?

No?

Didn't think so!

Bottom line is, we've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency, the reason for which very few people who read this can remember!

It was very simple... and at the time, everybody thought it very appropriate.

The Department of Energy was instituted on 8/04/1977, TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL.

Hey, pretty efficient, huh???

AND NOW IT'S 2012 -- 35 YEARS LATER -- AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS "NECESSARY" DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR. IT HAS 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES; AND LOOK AT THE JOB IT HAS DONE!

(THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY, "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?")

34 years ago 30% of our oil consumption was foreign imports. Today 70% of our oil consumption is foreign imports.

Ah, yes -- good old Federal bureaucracy.

NOW, WE HAVE TURNED OVER THE BANKING SYSTEM, HEALTH CARE, AND THE AUTO INDUSTRY TO THE SAME GOVERNMENT?

Just how many Americans are idiots? That's a very difficult thing to put a number on, but thanks to a survey conducted by the U.S. Government, we now have conclusive data on the number of idiots in America. The survey, taken on November 6, 2012, included nearly 130 million participants. The results were disappointing, to say the least. The survey revealed that at least 51% of the populace are undeniably idiots. Recognizing we have a problem is the first step to recovery, so let's spread the word: "I'm surrounded by idiots."

I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the United States . You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century? 

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States ? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia .... You didn't show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia .. How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey ...... You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What's the matter with you? I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn't!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now?

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. 

I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

The IRS Is Still At It

And it will be as long as we have this tax code.

You think the IRS has stopped abusing Americans because of the scrutiny it’s been receiving lately? No sir. The IRS will not stop doing things like this as long as we have our current tax code, because this sort of nonsense is the whole point of the current tax code.

Small business owners are now receiving letters from the IRS questioning if they are reporting all their cash income. That assumes they have evidence that maybe they are not. Tax officials say that letters don’t constitute an audit and are simply a request for more information.

Isn’t that what they did when they targeted conservative groups? They just wanted more information, they claimed. If it’s not an audit, why don’t you just leave people alone? It’s the agency’s latest move to try to intimidate people. Before it was political groups in opposition to the president. Now it’s businesses.

There’s only one way to stop the abuse going on by the IRS, and that is to replace the tax code and take the IRS’s power away.

That’s why we’re introducing Pick a Tax Plan, which you can learn more about on our sister site, HITM.

But it’s funny: People are worried about what happens to all those IRS agents in the event we replace the tax code. Why are you worried about 13,000 people losing their jobs when in fact there are 23 million people who can’t find a job, and the damage the IRS does to the economy is one of the major reasons. We’ve got about 315 million people in this country who are suffering under the weight of the tax code. Let’s free those 315 million people, and no telling how many families, from the abuse of the tax code?

By the way, trust me. People who work for the IRS are smart. In the robust new economy we would enjoy without the IRS, there would be plenty of new jobs and they would be smart enough to find them.

Obama just condemned the Egyptian Military for its crack down on "peaceful protesters." Considering Obama's coddling of Major Hasan, the Fort Hood Islamic mass murderer, Obama would not recognize enemy combatants if they were in the process of bombing and burning Washington, DC to the ground. These "peaceful" protesters in Egypt are armed with AK-47s and burned down 19 churches yesterday and numerous Christian homes, killing Christians where they found them. This murderous mob is anything but peaceful.

Martin/Zimmerman Trial Summary

For those who did not follow the trial, here is a brief summary, compiled from CBS, CNN, and MSNBC news reports

· Eighth grade honor student Trayvon Martin is walking home from church, eager to do his homework.

· Aryan Nation member George Zimmerman is driving around in his pickup truck with Confederate flag license plate and decals.

· Zimmerman spots Martin in the dark by the light glowing from the little boy’s halo.

· The Klansman takes chase, hunting Trayvon down like a dog.

· The budding football star nearly outruns the racist, but he stops when he comes to a “Do Not Enter” sign.

· Unwilling to disobey a lawful sign, he turns to face his attacker.

· The child attempts to reason with his attacker, but the illiterate power-mad cop-wannabe is not inclined to listen to reason or pleas for compassion.

· Despite numerous specific orders from police officers to not leave his vehicle, Zimmerman exits his truck and says, “Any last words, nigger?”

· “Praise Jesus. God bless you, Sir,” replies the helpless youngster.

· Zimmerman drags the future Nobel Peace Prize winner on top of him.

· A witness sees the youngster repeatedly swinging his arms, apparently attempting to make the sign of the cross.

· “White-Hispanic Power!” screams Zimmerman, as he empties the high-capacity clip loaded with armor-piercing hollow-point bullets from his semi-automatic assault gun with shoulder thing that goes up into the boy.

· Zimmerman then fiendishly punches himself in the face, breaking his nose, and repeatedly bangs his head on the sidewalk while screaming “Help me! Help me!” which obviously is a secret racist code for “Heil Hitler.”

· When he is finished murdering Martin, Zimmerman gets back into his gas-guzzling, globe-warming pickup truck and makes his escape.

· The last thing poor Trayvon sees before he dies is the “Bush-Cheney 2004” bumper sticker.

This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points... Someone finally said it.

How many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans..

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... And that's OK...

But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink ... You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you.... So why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund.

You have Martin Luther King Day.

You have Black History Month.

You have Cesar Chavez Day.

You have Yom Hashoah.

You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.

You have the NAACP.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.

Wonder who pays for that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, But any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US... Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, You believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists. You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, car jack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud...... But you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists??

There is nothing improper about this.  Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many will.

That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country.

We won't stand up for ourselves!
