Minimum Wage Hike
It’s not hard to believe that Obama, who has never run a business, doesn’t understand that forcing an employer to pay someone more than their work is worth will put more people out of the labor market. Making job creation more expensive leads to fewer jobs. It makes no sense that the same ones who are pushing for a minimum wage hike are the same ones who are yammering for us to keep our borders wide open for the flood of low wage illegal alien workers to further lower wages.
Senate Republicans Vote To Waive The Constitution
This occurred in December, right after the Republicans won such a victory in November:
There is no question that President Obama's executive amnesty violates the Constitution. Even the president acknowledged back in September that he would be "ignoring the law" to carry out such an action.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) raised a constitutional point of order against the $1.1 trillion omnibus spending that, if sustained, would have sent the bill back to the House to remove amnesty funding.
Unfortunately, a group of Republicans joined the Democrats in voting to reject Cruz's point of order and to ignore the serious constitutional problems with the president's executive amnesty.
These 20 Republicans voted to waive the Constitution.

After waiving the constitutional point of order, the Senate passed the omnibus bill, which fully funds Obamacare, does nothing to stop the president's amnesty, and includes an earmark to help the DC establishment defeat conservative challengers.
These 24 Republicans voted for the bill.

What You Need To Know About The Washington Politician's New Budget
This pathetic budget gives Obama everything he wants including funding for Amnesty and continued funding for Obamacare. It was passed with bipartisan support, including support from Republicans who were elected to stop some of the very things they turned around and funded after the election was over
