House Versus Senate - Who Is Doing The People's Business?

People keep spreading the lie that we have a do nothing Congress. I don't know if they are trolling or just clueless. It would appear that the Republican controlled house is doing the people's work, and we have a do nothing Senate, which is controlled by the Democrats. Let's look at the statistics. 

The Republican House has passed 418 bills, the Democrat Senate 211. The president has signed 88 House bills, 36 Senate bills. The House has had 7 appropriations bills signed, the Senate 0. The House has adopted 215 amendments, Harry Reid's Democrat Senate 0. So now we see which ones are useless. You are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts. The facts may be inconvenient for some who try to smear Republicans, but it only takes a minimum amount of research to get to the truth. 

Lame Duck

It is hoped that both houses of Congress will be held by Conservative Republicans, and The Talking Turd will be a lame duck until he leaves office. He has done enough damage to this country without being allowed to continue for another two years. 

America's Most Corrupt Organization

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse

* 7 have been arrested for fraud

* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks

* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

* 3 have done time for assault

* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting

* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year...
